From August to December 2022, as summer turned to winter, I traveled through Cheongju and documented everything I found. As someone who isn't from there, my mission was simple: travel Cheongju in my own way. I wandered every corner of the city with a notebook, a pen, and an iPad. Over five months, Cheongju revealed itself to be a city of quiet charm and unexpected depth. When I asked "Is this place good?", the answer was always "Ah, it's alright~" — but then the food would completely blow me away. It's the kind of city where you can travel slowly, without rushing or wanting too much, and still be constantly surprised.
